What is MOPS?
Raising a family in a foreign country can be both a daunting and isolating experience but you are not alone.
MOPS is open to all mothers of preschool-aged children (conception through kindergarten) to connect, grow, share and have fun!
At MOPS, we want to create authentic community and build strong relationships that will empower, encourage and support you as a mom, wife and woman.
MOPS Beijing meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 10am to 12pm at the BICF Office.
Meetings are run with these segments:
ii) topical speaker session
iii) activity/craft, and
iv) discussion group/sharing time.
In addition, we have a childcare program (MOPS Kids) with babysitting for infants and a curriculum for preschool aged children, so that they are also getting a chance to socialize and learn. Moms are welcome to attend without their children.
MOPS recently expanded its program to include mothers of primary-schoolers (age 6-12 years) whom we believe have similar needs - for community, connection and content.
MOPS is run by mothers of preschoolers for mothers of preschoolers and is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers.
We look forward to serving you and encouraging you in your mothering journey. We hope that MOPS will become a blessing in your life as it has in ours.
Please RSVP to mops(a)bicf.org if you are interested in attending and let us know if you will also bring your child. Please print out, fill in and bring this registration form to your first meeting.
